// About the Organization
Since its establishment in 1999, Yachadav association has been guided by a clear vision to reduce social disparities among marginalized and disadvantaged populations. Today, the organization operates dozens of treatment centers nationwide.
// Project Description
The program combines sheltered employment with therapeutic and rehabilitative activities for people with disabilities. The program includes weekly physiotherapy, a weekly cooking workshop and year‑round social activities such as holiday celebrations and Shabbat gatherings, with scheduled breaks. These activities support functional progress, emotional stability, and social connection.
// Project Goals
The goals of the program are to provide a protected employment center for people with disabilities; to combine training and rehabilitation with suitable work and promote integration into the open job market. The program creates a meaningful social center that supports creative, emotional and physical rehabilitation.
// Target Population
The project is designed for people with physical, sensory, mental or intellectual disabilities from Shafir Regional Council localities, Kiryat Gat, Yoav Regional Council and Lachish Regional Council. Most of the participants live in the community. From the age of 21 and up. The Hoshen center Serves 57 participants and their families.

// Outcomes
Expected outcomes include rehabilitation and an improvement in quality of life, through creative and therapeutic activities such as: ceramic workshops to enhance motor skills, personalized physiotherapy to reduce pain and improve function abilities and social empowerment. At the end of the year an exhibition showcases the work of the participants.
// Project Timeline
The center operates Mon–Fri. 8:00–16:00, except on holidays and during summer break. The employment workshop runs daily (for two hours), the cooking workshop on Thursdays (for an hour and a half), and physiotherapy weekly sessions (for an hour and a half). Birthdays, holidays, and Shabbat are marked year‑round.
// Budget Sustainability
Yachdav is a stable nonprofit organization and will continue to support the Hoshen center.
If the partnership will not fund the full requested sum, Yahcdav Association will seek additional partners. If no alternative resources are found, the Association will adjust the program’s scope and may need to reduce or cancel some of the activities.
