// About the Organization
Rimon Farms initiates, establishes and operates agricultural educational-therapeutic farms in the Negev for various populations.
// Project Description
The program is based on an integrated therapeutic model combining professional clinical guidance with structured agricultural activity. Participants engage in working the land and handling livestock, restoring a sense of routine, responsibility and contribution. Facilitated group processes and therapeutic oversight, support emotional regulation, trust-building, decision-making and sustained personal growth.
// Project Goals
The program supports adolescents growing up in southern Israel amid ongoing conflict and stress, by providing emotional and practical support that strengthens regulation, confidence and interaction with family, school and community.
// Target Population
The program is designed for adolescents between the ages 12–18, with up to 15 participants per group. The program creates indirect impact on families, strengthens community ties and influences the school and local environment, generating broad ripple effects.

// Outcomes
Short-term expected outcomes: developing life skills, increasing self-confidence and social participation. Long-term outcomes: improved social functioning, reduced risky behaviors, a deeper sense of resilience and strengthened family and community ties.
// Project Timeline
The program runs year-round, every group meets six times, with two groups meeting concurrently per cycle. After the completion of the cycle of spring 2025–26, four or five new groups will begin.
// Budget Sustainability
The program’s long-term sustainability relies on ongoing support from partners including Jewish federations, government bodies, local authorities and foundations.
If the Partnership will not fund the full requested sum, the organization will be required to limit the scope of activity in the Region, resulting in fewer group cycles and reduced scope of activity for participating youth and families.
// Project establishment status
The project is operating in the Shafir Region.
