// About the Organization
Tnufa Bakehilla is Isarel's only organization that handles urgent home repairs, free for indigent families. The organization has worked in 20 cities. In 2025 we repaired over 700 homes. Since the war started, Tnufa Bakehila has also repaired 750 bomb shelters in the south.
// Project Description
Tenufa Bakehila is the only organization in Israel that helps vulnerable populations break the cycle of poverty through home renovation and social support. Families the organization serve, often live for years in unsafe conditions such as leaking roofs, lack of hot water, electrical hazards, nonfunctioning bathrooms, and deteriorating kitchens. Tenufa’s social worker, provides support including assistance with furniture, appliances and financial guidance.
// Project Goals
The project empowers families in need living in dilapidated housing conditions in the Kiryat Gat, Shafir and Lachish Region. The project provides urgent, essential home repairs alongside social support at no cost to these families who have no other source of assistance.
// Target Population
50 indigent, welfare families, who cannot afford the repairs. In Israel there is no similar project. Unfortunately, many families live many years in broken and unsanitary homes, Tnufa Bakehila can provide the answer. The project will influence approximately 200 people.
// Outcomes
In the short term, 50 families will get to live in a safe and dignified home. The social works complimentary assistance will allow families to focus on urgent personal and family issues, without worrying about their unsafe home. The project will help them create a better future for themselves.
// Project Timeline
From July 2025 till July 2026. Our repair and renovation workers who are full-time employees of the organization, work daily on different projects.
// Budget Sustainability
Tnufa Bakehila’s office staff raises funds throughout the year.
If the Partnership will not be able to fund the requested sum, the number of recipients will decrease.

The project has been operating in the Partnership Region for a few years.
