// About the Organization
Since its establishment in 1999, Yachad’s vision dictates the organization's activities to its main mission: reducing social gaps for marginalized and disadvantaged population. The Yachadav association operates dozens of treatment centers nationwide.
// Project Description
The program is a therapeutic group for parents, including families from the religious sector, where sexual abuse occurred between siblings. The program includes individual therapy for affected children and a professional risk assessment to ensure family safety as well as guidance for the parents.
// Project Goals
The goals of the project are to provide holistic therapeutic support for children and parents. To conduct risk and needs assessments. To provide professional treatment for children with inappropriate or harmful sexual behavior, to provide a unique therapeutic group for parents in cases of sexual harm between siblings, and to strengthen the family unit.
// Target Population
Children up to the age of 18 with inappropriate and / or harmful sexual behavior, children who are victims of sexual assault, and parents of children treated at the center following cases of sibling sexual abuse.

// Outcomes
Expected outcomes are to provide a safe space for the parents- for connection, emotional release, and processing of the harm that occurred between the children and its impact on them. This will enable the parents to support the individual therapeutic process of each child and help the family move towards a healing process.
// Project Timeline
Group sessions are held for two hours twice a week, with monthly clinical supervision and staff training. Needs and risk assessments are conducted based on the nature of the incident, number of children involved, and each family’s individual circumstances.
// Budget Sustainability
Yachdav is a stable nonprofit organization and will continue to support the Shahar Center.
If full funding is not secured, the organization will seek additional partners. If no alternative resources are found, Yachadav will adjust the program’s scope and may need to reduce or cancel some activities.
// Project establishment status
The program operates in Kiryat Gat.
