// Project Description
Educating for Excellence strives to ensure that every girl and boy with potential can freely choose their life path, with as few limitations as possible. To this end, the organization identifies children with potential for excellence and provides them with enrichment and personal empowerment through ongoing support during the school year. The program runs over the course of ten consecutive years from third to twelfth grade. Providing approximately four-hour sessions between 2-4 days a week.
// Project Goals
Educating for Excellence (E4E) strives to reduce inequality in Israel by creating equal opportunities for youth in Israel's social and geographic periphery. E4E aims to increase the chances of the participants by helping them complete high school with an excellent matriculation certificate.
// Target Population
The program is designed to help 119 disadvantaged children between Third and Seventh grade in Kiryat Gat. Direct Impact will be on the E4E student and their immediate family. E4E students are often the first members of their family who seek higher education and serve as a role model for other siblings.

// Outcomes
Expected Short-term outcomes: Developing essential and diverse skills among the students, including strategic and cognitive thinking and understanding and analyzing information, alongside the development of interpersonal skills for creating social connections.
// Project Timeline
The activity takes place throughout the year in two schools in Kiryat Gat. In the Cramim School: Activities take place on Mondays and Thursdays. In the Yad Yitzhak School: Activities take place on Sundays and Thursdays.
// Budget Sustainability
The program in Kiryat Gat operates based on an established economic model that integrates diverse funding sources, including foundations, private donors and local authority collaborations to ensure long-term sustainability.
